Ausserdem dachte ich kurzweilig, ich hätte mich etwas verfahren und sei am Potsdamer Platz gestrandet, denn drei der größten Leuchtreklamen, die so hell waren, dass meine Kamera sie kaum richtig anzeigen konnte, waren Allianz, Philips, Schenker DB (Deutsche Bahn) Strange.

Von dort an besitzt das Gebäude eine moderne Einkaufspassage, mit zum Teil aus Glas gefertigtem Dach und eine große Leuchtreklame auf dem Dach des Hauses, welche man aus vielen Ecken der Stadt sieht und zu einem der Wahrzeichen in Frankfurt (Oder) geworden ist.
Seit dem Jahre 2000 befindet sich im 24. Stock das Restaurant "turm24" und im ganzen Haus gibt es mehr als 1300 Arbeitsplätze, darunter in ca. 40 Geschäften, Büros, Justizbehörden, Arztpraxen und einigem mehr.

Dabei haben die Hong Kong Chinesen offensichtlich vom Wort Lichtverpestung noch nie etwas gehört, denn die Helligkeit mit denen manche Leuchtreklamen auf den Dächern in die Stadt strahltenwar – ….Hell.
