Experience has taught keepers that introducing pairs of clouded leopards at a young age gives opportunities for the pair to bond and breed successfully.
Among the 35 different species revealed to the excited gathering included the stunning elephant hawk moth; scallop shell moth; buff arches; peppered moth; clouded border and poplar hawk moth.
The last common ancestor of the lion, tiger, leopard, jaguar, snow leopard, and clouded leopard is believed to have occurred about 6.37 million years ago.
