EPICENTRE Life Projekt Ecomapping ist ein Trainings- und Umweltprüfungs-Tool, um Schritt für Schritt ISO 14001 und EMAS in 250 Betrieben in Europa einzuführen.
Das EPICENTRE Life-Projekt ging aus dem Englischen Acorn-Modell hervor, das das Ziel einer schrittweisen Einführung von ISO 14001 und EMAS in KMU verfolgt.
Dies Projekt umfaßt eine experimentelle Zertifizierung in 6 Stufen bei 250 KMUs in 5 europäischen Ländern.
