German UNICEF Foundation ’s support for child aid programmes The revenues of the German UNICEF Foundation are used by the registered association German Committee for UNICEF to support UNICEF programmes worldwide.
According to the will of Dr. Gustav Rau, UNICEF Foundation supports the hospital in Ciriri in the Democratic Republic of the Congo founded by Dr. Rau, as well as since 2011, in collaboration with the Swiss-based Foundation Dr. Rau, four other programmes in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Namibia and Burundi.
For these five programmes alone, the German UNICEF Foundation has allocated ten million euro until 2017.

Gemäß dem Willen von Dr. Gustav Rau fördert die deutsche UNICEF-Stiftung in diesem Rahmen das von ihm gegründete Krankenhaus in Ciriri in der Demokratischen Republik Kongo sowie seit 2011 in Zusammenarbeit mit der in der Schweiz ansässigen Dr. Rau Stiftung vier weitere Programme in der Demokratischen Republik Kongo, Eritrea, Namibia und Burundi.
Allein für diese fünf Programme stellt die deutsche UNICEF-Stiftung im Zeitraum bis 2017 rund zehn Millionen Euro zur Verfügung.

Tdh and Giriyuja are inviting the parties who work on child protection in Burundi ( health services, school heads, local NGOs ) to use this centre for offering their services to the children at risk.
Although the opening of the centre is near ( December 2013 ), Tdh and Giriyuja are still looking for funding to develop other projects and other services to be including at the centre ( schooling, a canteen, accommodation ).
www.tdh.chFür eine optimale Implementierung des Projekts werden noch neue Partner gesucht, um die Kinder auf ihrem schwierigen Lebensweg zu begleiten.
Tdh und Giriyuja laden Akteure des Kinderschutzes in Burundi ( Gesundheitsdienste, Schulleiter, lokale NGO ) ein, das Zentrum zu nutzen und hier ihre Dienstleistungen für gefährdete Kinder anzubieten.
Obwohl die Eröffnung bald ( Dezember 2013 ) erfolgen soll, suchen Tdh und Giriyuja noch Finanzierungen, um weitere ins Zentrum integrierte Projekte und Leistungen ( Einschulung, Kantine, Unterkunft ) zu entwickeln.
