For more than 40 years in Greiz, in the east of Thuringia situated in the scenically delightful Vogtland, polysulphide polymers have been developed, produced and converted to sealants.
With the changed market situation after the German reunification in 1990 the production of sealing materials was gradually stopped and the former Chemiewerk Greiz-Dölau, today Akzo Nobel Functional Chemicals GmbH & Co. KG, increased the capacity for the production of polysulphide polymers.
