Since it was the first time they were all here together I had planned loads of activities to keep them entertained : we walked around downtown Lugano, looking for those last-minute Christmas gifts ; we drank hot chocolate and prosecco in Piazza Riforma while watching the light show on the façade of the Municipio ; we had, of course, cheese fondue, fondue chinoise and raclette, at home and at restaurants.
My fiancé and I prepared a nice Christmas Eve seafood dinner, while my mother cooked a traditional English Christmas day menu, including roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, just like the one grandma used to make.
