With the produced n-type MWT solar cells, a comparable conversion efficiency level to p-type FZ material and a significant increase in conversion efficiency compared to p-type Cz material in degraded condition should be demonstrated.
The change from p-type silicon to n-type silicon, however, requires the evaluation of new process technologies and processes.
