Die ISAAC-Studie
Im Rahmen der so genannten ISAAC-Studie (International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood) untersuchte ein Forschungsteam rund 206.000 Kinder in 31 Ländern im Alter von sechs und sieben Jahren.
Die Erziehungsberechtigten befragte man über die Gabe von Paracetamol zur Fiebersenkung im Säuglings- und Kleinkindalter sowie über das spätere Auftreten von Asthma, allergischem Schnupfen (z. B. Heuschnupfen) und Ekzemen im Alter von sechs und sieben Jahren.

In the course of the International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood (ISAAC), a research team examined around 206,000 children aged six to seven years in 31 countries.
Parents and guardians were asked about the use of paracetamol for fever in infancy and early childhood and the later occurrence of asthma, rhinoconjunctivitis (e.g. hay fever) and eczema at age six to seven years.
