Simulation instationärer Vorgänge am IHS
Mit der am Institut für die Firma Voith Hydro entwickelten Software SIPROHS können hydraulische Anlagen und Netze basierend auf dem eindimensionalen Charakteristikenverfahren erfasst werden.
Das Programm besitzt einen modularen Aufbau, so dass beliebig strukturierte hydraulische Systeme im Zeitbereich simuliert werden können.

On behalf of Voith Hydro the institute has developed the software SIPROHS for the simulation of hydraulic systems and the electric grid.
The code is based on the method of characteristics (MoC), i.e. calculations in the time domain, and has a modular setup.
