Eine Produktion ohne Qualitätsschwankung wird durch die außergewöhnliche Tatsache gewährleistet, dass Prototyp und Serie auf derselben Maschine ohne zweite Produktionsabnahme produziert werden.
Dadurch eignet sich die neue SMD Linie neben der Produktion von mittelgroßen Serien besonders für Kleinserien und Prototypen.
