Wir zeigen die private Rauchkultur im Salon, wo die Herren im Rauchermantel und mit der Raucherkappe auf dem Kopf zusammen saßen und das Rauchen in der Öffentlichkeit als Teil der Wiener Kaffeehaus-Kultur an Hand von 120 beispielhaften Exponaten.
Die fachkundige Auswahl der Pfeifen aus bemaltem Porzellan und geschnitztem Meerschaum, der Schnupftabak-Dosen aus Silber und Lack sowie der Gemälde und speziellen Pfeifentische erfolgte durch Frau Dr. Sabine Fellner, der langjährigen Kuratorin der Sammlung.
