Mr. Amin and the Ambassador hailed Germany ’ s prompt establishment of permanent representation — only weeks after the Agency ’ s Headquarters Agreement with the UAE Government entered into force on October 9 — as proof of IRENA ’ s increasing importance in promoting the sustainable use of all forms of renewable energy worldwide.
IRENA also includes an Innovation and Technology Centre in Bonn, Germany, and a liaison office to the United Nations in New York.
