Die Mitglieder des „Globalen Pakts“ verpflichten sich, in ihrem Einflussbereich die Umsetzung von zehn grundlegenden Prinzipien in den Bereichen Umweltschutz, Einhaltung von Arbeitsnormen, Bekämpfung von Korruption und allgemeiner Schutz der Menschenrechte zu fördern und öffentlich für die Ziele des Paktes zu werben.
2005 Armacell erhält für sein herausragendes Engagement im Bereich Umwelt und Soziales den "Ethics in Business Award".
