Im Frühjahr 2007 wurde auf der Farm PD Spišská Teplica ( Slowakei ) ein Vergleichsversuch unternommen.
Auf einer Fläche von 5 ha wurde mit der neuen Sämaschine Terrasem 4000 K ( Schlepper SAME IRON 200 ) und auf einer anderen, gleich großen Fläche mit einer klassischen pneumatischen Sämaschine in Kombination mit einer Kreiselegge gesät.
Das Saatgut war Gerste mit 245 kg / ha ( relativ hohe Saatstärke wegen Gefahren durch Witterungseinflüsse ).
