Die Währung auf den Kanarischen Inseln ist der Euro, der im Januar 2002 eingeführt wurde und die peseta, die ehemalige spanische Währung, ersetzt hat.
Es gibt Euro-Scheine mit unterschiedlichen Werten zwischen 5 und 500 Euro und Münzen mit unterschiedlichen Werten zwischen 1 Cent und 50 Cent und außerdem 1- und 2-Euro-Münzen.
