I. one's [brit. angl. wʌnz, am. angl. wənz] In French determiners agree in gender and number with the noun they qualify. So when one's is used as a determiner it is translated by son + masculine singular noun (son argent), by sa + feminine noun (sa voiture) BUT by son + feminine noun beginning with a vowel or mute h (son assiette) and by ses + plural noun (ses enfants).
